Student Life has been successfully producing camps since 1993 and conferences since 1999.

Student Life Bible Study was introduced in 2003. It was, in the words of Student Life founder and president Randy Hall, “an elaborate response to a great need.”

“Trustworthy and credible research has confirmed our convictions that teenagers are not getting a clear understanding of what they believe or of the truth revealed in the Bible,” Hall said. “We believe it is our calling and our responsibility to shine a bright spotlight on the story of God’s love for us and on His redemptive plan for all people as that story is revealed in the Bible.”

The creation and development of Student Life Bible Study was the beginning of Clarity Publishers, a sister company of Student Life.

With a core of 8 Essential Truths in place, Clarity Publishers put into motion a team of writers, editors and designers that would make the vision of conquering biblical illiteracy that much more of a reality.

After 4 years, more than 4,000 churches, 40 countries and all 50 states are using Student Life Bible Study.

It has become very clear that not only are teenagers falling behind in the area of biblical literacy, but research also shows Christian adults have difficulty articulating the truths of the Bible.

Again, Clarity Publishers is answering with “an elaborate response to a great need.”
